Pottery from the Wemyss Ware® Studio
The Wemyss Ware® studio near St Andrews is a major Visitor Attraction in Fife, Scotland. We provide our customers with traditional and highly collectable Scottish pottery. Our range consists of beautifully hand painted cats, pigs, dogs, rabbits, decorative tableware, tiles and giftware. The Wemyss Ware® studio is owned and operated by Griselda Hill.
Everything is hand made and hand painted at our Fife premises using traditional techniques to produce items that are sure to become Scottish ceramic collectables.
For twenty five years we have been located in the beautiful village of Ceres in Fife, once described as the most attractive village in both Fife and Scotland.
Finding us is easy. Just come to Ceres, look for the Parish Church which dominates the village skyline from all possible directions, and we are adjacent to it on Kirk Brae. The Pottery occupies the beautiful eighteenth century stone buildings that were once the stables and out-buildings to the original church manse.
Our shop and visitor centre is open: 10am - 4.30pm Monday to Friday and 12.30pm - 4.30pm Saturday & Sunday
